We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager based in Pembridge, Herefordshire reporting to the Operations Manager. The position carries responsibility for leading an experienced team of engineers working in an environment where there is an established regime of KPIs. The manufacturing process is highly automated using high-value capital equipment and it involves a mix of mechanical, electrical and process engineering technologies. 

The site has multiple manufacturing lines working on various continuous shift working patterns five days a week.  There is a high emphasis placed upon equipment availability and adherence to world class operation and maintenance standards. 

You will be responsible for the leadership of shift based maintenance teams with the core responsibility of bringing the maintenance systems in line with best modern practice, maximising plant utilisation, output, OEE, health and safety, and quality.

Ideal candidates will be accomplished and proven maintenance engineering management professionals and with an early progressive career within a world-class process based manufacturing company. You will need to be highly organised and have a real strength in delivering a world-class PPM service to the site.

Ideally you will hold a degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar, and a recognised health and safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely. An awareness and understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 50001 and OHSAS 18001 would be advantageous.

Attention to detail, and excellent communication and planning skills are key to this role. From time to time you may provide assistance and support to other sites within the Kingspan group of companies which may involve travelling to those sites. A full drivers license valid in the UK is therefore essential for this role.
